These Terms govern your use of Zenkosa (the "Platform"), a directory that connects clients with beauty professionals. By browsing, creating an account, listing a profile, or sending an inquiry, you agree to these Terms.
1. Beta status
Zenkosa is in beta. Features may change without notice, and the Platform may contain errors or downtime. You use it understanding it is unfinished, and we may pause or reset parts of it as we refine the product.
2. Who may use Zenkosa
You must be 16 or older and legally able to form a contract. You agree not to use Zenkosa on behalf of anyone else without authorization, and not to use it where prohibited.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: harass, threaten, or impersonate others; submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; spam or send mass unsolicited inquiries; scrape, resell, or redistribute listings or data; attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Platform; or use it to conduct anything unlawful. We may remove content or suspend access for violations, with or without notice.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if your credentials are exposed. We are not liable for losses from unauthorized access you failed to prevent.
5. Professional listings
Listings are provided by independent professionals, not by Zenkosa. Each professional is responsible for the accuracy of their profile, pricing, availability, location, and any credentials or specialties shown. We review new listings before they go live and may pause, hide, or remove any listing that violates these Terms or our standards, but we do not verify every claim a professional makes.
6. Inquiries & bookings
Inquiries are introductions only. Zenkosa is not a party to any booking, quote, payment, or service that results, and takes no fee from individual transactions (no commission). Any booking, deposit, or payment is arranged directly between you and the professional under their own terms and policies, including their cancellation and refund rules.
7. Reviews
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and be honest. We may moderate, hide, or remove reviews that are abusive, false, spam, promotional, or otherwise against these Terms. Posting a fake or retaliatory review may result in loss of access.
8. No warranties
Zenkosa is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zenkosa and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct, quality, or results of any engagement between a client and a professional. You use the Platform at your own risk.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Zenkosa harmless from claims arising from your use of the Platform, your listings or submissions, or your dealings with other users.
11. Intellectual property
The Zenkosa name, logo, and platform design are owned by us. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it as needed to operate the Platform. Do not post content that infringes the rights of others.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in Iowa courts where possible.
